Associate Spotlight – Mac Morisset

Q. Can you tell us a little about your role at PDI?
Morisset: I am a Production Supervisor. I’m responsible for meeting manufacturing goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, and counseling employees; as well as initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Q. What does “Be the Difference” mean to you?
Morisset: To me “Be the Difference” means going above and beyond what the company needs to achieve the goals without anyone having to tell you how or what to do [to reach that].
Q. Are there any unique / exciting projects you have been able to work on while at PDI?
Morisset: It’s exciting that several of the wipes PDI manufactures have been tested and are effective against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused COVID-19.
Q. Do you have any interesting hobbies or fun facts you could share? (personal or work related)
Morisset: I love to workout. I am a former competitive bodybuilder. I competed in a bodybuilding show back in 2014 while I was in the Army.
Q. What made you decide to join PDI?
Morisset: I was a personal trainer before PDI for 5 years. I decided to make a career change by entering into management and managing people. A new challenge I was willing to take on and really enjoy!
Q. How has your perspective of PDI changed since you joined the company?
Morisset: When I joined PDI, I learned more about the products we make, and discovered how many hospitals and healthcare facilities support our product. It was great to join a company that plays a very important role in infection prevention.
